Best of 2021 Podcast Roundup
Last week I wrote about some of the good and bad of 2021 — but there was one “good” I forgot to mention:
I was on some amazing podcasts with some badass women in 2021.
And because I’m guessing you’re like me and run from work, to Zoom meetings, to working out, to falling into bed at the end of the day, you might have missed one or two of them.
So, here’s a quick round-up of a few podcasts I was on in 2021:
Workin’ On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor
Yes, that would be Meghan Trainor the singer!
What do you do when you break up?
Should you stay friends?
Why do I consider a breakup the same as losing a loved one?
Meghan, Ryan, Meghan’s husband and I have a candid discussion about what to do when you’re faced with a breakup (and how my first boyfriend became my contractor).
Works for Us with Rachel Zoe and Roger Berman
Rachel wanted it to be just us ladies, so Roger wasn’t there, which gave me lots of time to get to know her and pick her brain on what she thinks has been the key to her long-term success with Roger (30 years and counting).
Our episode is also full of relationship advice like why it’s a bad idea to stay with your mom when you go to visit her — and how you can tweak your thinking so you can get through dinner with your family (no matter how obnoxious they are).
Tap In with Harry Jowsey
Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle star Harry Jowsey and I chatted all things dating and relationships, including:
- The difference between love and lust
- How to step away from a toxic relationship
- Why it’s so hard to start a new relationship with a clean slate
Bachelors in the City
What is romantic jealousy?
Me and Bachelorette Season 15 contestants Dustin Kendrick and Peter Weber (Peter also was The Bachelor on season 24) discussed this at length on the Bachelors in the City Podcast.
I also gave on-the-spot advice to Dustin and Peter on how they can take steps to leave their bachelor ways behind.
(Hint: it starts with Peter not expecting perfection and helping Dustin transition from the honeymoon phase into the “boring” middle phase of the relationship.)
